  • Ate dinner at the bar tonight. It was good. Cheese plate, filet mignon over arugula and several glasses of wine. Good, attentive bartender who gave us samples of the wine before we settled on one.
  • Flexi.. sounds like you had a nice meal. I trust your judgement. We must make a visit.

Had the same experience a few weeks ago. My wife and I sat at the bar had a few things to share....really relaxing and fun night. A little pricey but that was due to the wine list which was pretty impressive.

Let me know how it goes. There aren't many tables, so I'd suggest going early. We started at 6 and the tables were probably all taken by 7 ...on a Monday
  • Had a lovely lunch at Provini today.

My panini (prosciutto) was delicious, my wife loved hers (chicken) as well, although I thought the flavors in mine were more complex and interesting.

The decor is very nice, although the tables are pretty damn close together. It got pretty crowded by 1:30 or so - going earlier was a good strategy.

Nice wine choices, and pretty affordable.

The dessert (warm chocolate cake) was really good as well.

May I also say that they make a DAMN fine espresso. That's not as easy as you think. Must be a pricey machine.

One flaw: although she was very sweet, the server was overwhelmed and not the greatest waitress I've ever had. Things moved pretty slowly.

Overall I would highly recommend it, just make sure you go closer to Noon than one.
