I'm oot and aboot. Often with Wing Dog. Often with yoga mat. Never with a stroller.
We exist. I swear.
That said, I'm outta here tonight and out of the country at EOW. -

Actually - NewSloper might be more "useful" to me, Armchair.
I'm sick as a dog with a sinus/bronchial infection, on my 5th day of antibiotics and trying to get all of this green/yellow crap out of my head before it explodes on the plane on Thurs.
Still think I'm hot, now? Huh?

video game+girl= heaven
video game+girl+snot+no leg+ no teeth+ no arms= still heaven:p.
btw what type of games you play. -

Take your meds on time and FINISH the antibiotics!!! A lot of people stop taking the antibiotics when they start feeling "better", allowing the bacteria to develop immunity and morph into "superbugs" when the next infection sets in.

Warm compresses on your nasal sinus area will work wonders at getting rid of that sexy, hot green/yellow crap.
Sorry, cant help you with the head exploding on the plane issue...heard there was no cure for that one. -
When I was a kid, I was into games.....back when games were simple - Pac Man, Asteroids, Space Invaders, Qix (ok, I do play a PC version of this from time to time).
On my Atari I had all of those, but I really loved Maze Craze. Simple, but fun.
And car racing games. I always ended up flipped over and taking out a few spectators in the stands.
Now......I don't play anything ('cept for my very occasional Qix). Ok, some stuff on my Palm Pilot. I'm an awesome drug dealer in Dope Wars.
That is all.
Snotty head is going to bed now.
All you youngsters can stay up and talk about stuff I don't understand now.
(btw, where are Laura and the other ladies when I need them?) -

Thanks, NewSloper.
I think I already have a superbug. Little bastards won't leave me alone!
I am gonna finish all of the antibiotics (am also taking pro-biotics to keep balance in my body. 'nuff said), and am taking Mucinex now (super snot remover) + decongestant.
I forgot about the warm compresses, but I neti pot every day and my friend from Spain made me boil water with a peeled onion and drink the broth. Said it was a good expectorant.
Hey, I'll try anything at this point.
I'm draggin my snotty ass to bed with my trusty box of Puffs with Lotion by my side. -
If you've got superbugs, ask your doc about adding clavulanate to your existing antiobiotic regimen. It usually does the trick, without putting you on stronger antiobiotics.
Your friend from Spain's idea sounds great. Hope you feel better and de-snotify before your big trip.

Please PM me (since you're a guest, I don't think I can) and tell me what that cl(something something) is.
do I need a 'script? any side effects? how fast will it work? etc. etc. -
I just registered, but it still has to get approval by the site administrator... so I cant PM you yet.
But yes, clavulanate req's a prescription by your physician and when added to your antibiotic regimen it works wonders against the "superbugs" that might've become somewhat resistant to the regular antibiotics that you've been on recently (ie Amoxicillin, Cephlex, etc).
Let me know what happens with that. -
Side effects for clavulanate can be the same for any antibiotic (rash, diarrhea, nausea) but generally these are rare and the drug is well-tolerated.
How fast it'll work depends on the severity of your infection and how your body responds to it. Well it be gone by Thurs? It's possible, but really it just depends on the level of severity of your sinus/bronchial infection.
Hope you feel better. -

sweet jesus.
in any case, video game speak will probably only get you laid at barcade or some gaming convention. armchair: with your non-interest in drinking, you should head over to billyburg and hang out at barcade. lots of video games. LOTS.
med resident: good luck obtaining knockers. -

nyquil 1/2 hour before you get on the plane.
it should keep you mildly decongested and if your head explodes, you'll be asleep. if nyquil doesn't knock you out, have a glass of wine. just one.
no, I'm not a doctor. I'm just very good at medicating myself. -
I'm taking happy pills to sleep on the plane. Nyquil is too hit-or-miss. It can either put me to sleep or make me hopped up.

Nyquil makes me hallucinate, so if I took it on a plane I'd probably end up having a Twilight Zone William Shatner moment ... -
Nyquil dreams are always interesting...

New Sloper...
Two vital questions:
1) Where are you from in Ohio?
2) What color(s) do you bleed? -
