  • To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine...
    And those who don't.

    As Ben Franklin said:
    In wine there is wisdom,
    In beer there is freedom,
    In water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials,
Scientists have demonstrated that if we drink
1 liter of water each day,
At the end of the year we would have absorbed
More than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) - bacteria
    Found in feces.
In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop..

    However,
We do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer
(or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor)
Because alcohol has to go through a purification process
    Of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

    Remember:
    Water = Poop,
    Wine = Health.
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,
Than to drink water and be full of shit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:
I'm doing it as a public service!
  • Hi Guys:

I don't know how many of you are following the case of the little 9 yr. old Missouri girl that was killed by a 15 year old neighbor girl, but I just read on one of the websites her name is Alyssa Bustemante and she is the step-sister of the victim's little friend whom she was visiting. She sounds like a sick, sick girl. She has been posting on facebook and twitter. It is so scary to read some of the things that today's teenagers are posting. It is really upsetting. I really think this world is doomed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean we were no angels in our day, but it is really out of control now. I just pray it is not too late to turn things around for our kids and grandkids.
  • HI BARBARA.. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THAT STORY ON CNN NANCY GRACE...VERY SAD...

OUR KIDS DO NEED PRAYERS FOR THE WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY!!!
THIS IS WHY WE ARE ALL NEUROTICS WHEN IT COMES TO OUR KIDS!!!

    TALK TO U SOON :)
  • HER NAME WAS ELIZABETH OLTEN... [-o<
  • Hey guys. Went out early today shopping with my girlfriend. What a nice day compared to yesterday.

Paul.....I lost count, but lets call it a bakers dozen....lol......you're a sweetheart!!!!
  • Judy......so sorry to hear about your cousin. Thats very sad. Good luck with mom this week at the doctors.

Festina.....you better rest or you'll never feel better!!!
  • Hi Everyone... Just peeking in to say hello to everyone. Got home late yesterday afternoon & am still exhausted from the long ride... Started packing a little today (this is going to be a long, long road).... I will talk to you all more tomorrow (I hope), but I just wanted to let you girls know you all are incredible, and I am blessed that I was able to come up & meet you!... XOX ... Love you all..
  • Geri......I'm so sorry I didn't get to meet you........hopefully next time!!! Good luck packing.....that's a job!!!

  • Jeanette LaGreca wrote: GOOD MORNING EVERYONE.
TODAY LOOKS A LITTLE BRIGHTER THEN YESTERDAY, NO RAIN YEA !!!!!!
TO BAD THE YANKEES LOST LAST NIGHT, MY SON MUST NOT BE TO HAPPY THIS MORNING. MY GOD ITS THURSDAY ALREADY.TIME IS PASSING SO FAST.

JIM WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MAKE YOUR WIFE SO ANGRY??? LOL
IS THE JESTER BEING A BAD BOY. HHHmmm ???? LOL

HAVE TO GO BACK TO CVS TO PICK MY MEDS. PASS THE HALLOWEEN CANDY SECTION, AND TEMPTED TO BUY CANDY, BUT I WONT BE GIVING OUT ANY CANDY THIS YEAR. LAST YEAR I WOMAN IN MY AREA WHO LIVED ALONE WAS HANDING OUT CANDY TO THE KIDS. AT THE FRONT DOOR
THEY PUSHED HER IN THE HOUSE BEAT HER, AND ROBED HER HOUSE
AND COULD NOT GIVE POLICE DESCRIPTION BECAUSE THEY HAD MASK ON.

SO I AM KEEPING MY DOORS LOCKED, SORRY LITTLE KIDS !!!!!! I PROMISED MY BIG KIDS, I WONT BE OPENING MY DOOR

EVERYONE HAVE A GOOD DAY.....SEE YA LATER
    ------
Hi Jeanette, If you don't feel comfortable, do not open your door, it's the scariest feeling thinking that someone under that mask can be a robber/killer. Years ago, I made the mistake of opening my door to a 6 ft college guy dressed like Dracula, I got such a fright and almost screamed, I can't even explain it and I was all alone.
    Be safe.
  • Hi everyone!!! Couldn't stay up for the whole game last night but I heard the bad news, my son says there's another game tonight. Maybe they will win and put everyone in a better mood! Right Patsy???

Judy, so sad hearing about your cousin, he was soooo young.

Geri, glad you had a safe trip home.

I finally saw the dr. today and it turns out I should have been taking the mucinex with the DM instead of the other. duh!!! I'm also on a antibiotic so I'm sure I'll be feeling a whole lot better by Sat.

So, are all the kids ready for Halloween Sat. night???

Everyone ------ have a great night!!!!!!!!!!!
