The Rant Rave thread

Major RAVE: Replacement new tv just came AND the guy packed up and took out my old TV too......so I don't have to deal with cutting up the cardboard, breaking down the styrofoam, etc.

Yay!

I just have to reconfigure the new one, but that shouldn't be so hard.

Rant: must. not. buy. old. classic. motorcycle. then. rebuild. it. and re-live. college. years.

They say they'll fire the incumbent within 3 weeks, and that I'm the replacement.

...but look at the potential of that old beast! I had an almost identical one in college. Ok, I had two.

Surely I could rent a garage somewhere in Brooklyn and make it a combination wood shop - BMW R-series rebuild facility. I would live off ramen noodles.....

I'm pooped! Anyone want to do dinner this weekend or lunch. Potluck might be fun (just not at my place, don't want to stress out the kitty)
I'm dying to cook a new dish for someone.

I'm not sure if this is a rant or a rave:

Rant: coworkers who come to work sick and infect me with their nasty disease.
Rave: Moving December 1st!
Rant: packing to move Dec. 1st!
Rave: young, studly boy toy is going to help me pack!
Rant: feel like shit due to aforementioned coworker
Mini-Rant/Rave: leaving Brooklyn

Rant: Holly crap my allergies have been intense today! Anyone else feeling this? I'm guessing it just the cat causing it.

I don't even have allergies really but today I woke up sneezing and having to blow my nose for most of the day. It feels like there's something in my left nostril that kinda tickles when I move it and then I have to sneeze. It's weird , I know. It's died down a bit now , tho.

Rant: terrible headache.

Rave: New haircut from Carmen!

Rave: Comp tickets to a great play at the Public!

Rave: Papi Chulo bringing me fish tacos made of Skate from Tortilleria Nixtamal, Queens, thanks to Mahina's adventurous lunch break!

Rant: I was too sick to come along, but hey I got my tacos!

Ok here it is: santa has purchased a big ass tv for my roommate!!! Well, it's reaaaaaally for meeeeeeeee!!!! She doesn't care if the tv is small, it's me who puts my nose on it to read subtitles. So excited!

Rave: All-Bran crackers, garlic herb flavor. Tasty snack with fiber so it's like I'm eating health food

(old) Rave: desserts at Belleville. We went there just for late dessert on Halloween and both were excellent. I think dessert at most places around here is just okay but I've gotten various ones there on multiple occasions and am never disappointed. Yum!
