    Hello.........

The weather is 'perfect' by my standards. Come on down!
(Besides Bob Barker's quote, wasn't that a commercial for
    FloriDuh in the 60's)

Do pack a very light jacket for early mornings, or your late nights
out on the town, Terry LOL (It is 82 right now)

And the offer to go bike-riding together still stands, I figure
we can tie your bike to a palm tree and make you feel right
at home. Filled with 'sic' humor this day.

Have caught up with you all - and other than Suzie's recent loss,
glad to see no major tragedies, and of course I'm happy the Yankees won. I think I saw Patsy make mention that the parade
is called a 'canyon of heros'

I THOUGHT THE MEN & WOMEN FIGHTING FOR OUR COUNTRY,
AND THE DAY-TO-DAY PEOPLE WHO HELP OTHERS, ARE THE
HERO'S. Not Michael Jackson, and not the Yankees.

OK... I'll let it go at that.

Michael, your words to Suzie were gentle and genuine.
Sounds like your wisdom comes from experience. Thanks
for sharing! (Ooopps, feel like I'm back in the classroom.) LOL

    Be right back....

TELL FRANK 'HI' FOR ME... STAY WELL..XX
  • There was also a Shoe Maker on 20th St. also (about 216 20th St.).
He was truly an old fashioned 'cobbler' who you would see in
a Disney movie today. Apron, glasses - like Santa's little helper.

Store front, walked up a small stoop. Smelled great - leather
(guess that's when I first got into leather LOL). He and his
wife lived upstairs. I vividly remember going in there trick-or-
treating. CAROL MIELE - you probably remember this,
    we were together.

And he was right across the street from the Horse Stable.
What a rich block, with chicken markets, sailors, boxing arena,
Port-O-Call bar, grocery stores, car lot, Tobins furniture warehouse,
Grechler's parking lot... can go on more.. (All between 4th & 5th Aves)
Most importantly -- the Mieles and Brunos lived there..

Hope you all have a nice day. And you are blessed with strength
and know-how to get through it. Helen, hope you and your
    husband feel better.

    God Bless All,
    Franny B

YES PATSY, I WAS VERY CLEAR TO SAY THAT YOU SAID THE PARADE IS CALLED (NOT YOUR OPINON, A PARADE TITLE)

I would hope you of all people would NOT have made that statement or named
the parade that. Believe me, I read what I write twice before I submit... too much bullshit on misunderstandings. Love ya...

  • Hi to everyone. I haven't been on here in such a long time. I hope that all is well with everyone. Sorry to hear about your uncle, Suzie. This was just sent to me and I couldn't resist sending it out especially for the men: I hope you enjoy it.

DO NOT TALK TO THE PARROT

Wanda's dishwasher quit working so she called in a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told the repairman, 'I'll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I'll mail you a check. Oh, by the way don't worry about my dog Spike. He won't bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT, under ANY circumstances, talk to my parrot! 'I MUST STRESS TO YOU: DO NOT TALK TO MY PARROT!!!'

When the repairman arrived at Wanda's apartment the following day, he discovered the biggest, meanest looking dog he has ever seen. But, just as she had said, the dog just lay there on the carpet watching the repairman go about his work.

The parrot, however, drove him nuts the whole time with his incessant yelling, cursing and name calling.

Finally the repairman couldn't contain himself any longer and yelled, 'Shut up, you stupid, ugly bird!'

To which the parrot replied,'Get him Spike!'

See - Men just don't listen!

Ok back to work for me. Have a wonderful day.
  • GOOD ONE RONNIE... BTW.. HOW R U?? HOPE ALL IS WELL.. COME BACK ON AND VISIT AGAIN SOON..:)
