Grown-up, professional sources for herbal products in P.S.?

johnnyanonymous
edited November -1 in Park Slope
I just moved to the neighborhood this past April twentieth, and I haven't quite gotten my bearings yet. I tried Back to the Land and that little shop next to Starbucks, but they don't seem to have what I need. Thoughts? PM button below.

  • wow. I wonder what this post is all about. It's as subtle as if I was banged over the head with a pot.
  • teehee. you said pot
  • If you're implying that my post is in reference to illegal activity, you are mistaken. I just have a passion for natural herbal products that are good for the mind and body.
  • Find the bodega with the cat inside. Wink and say "I hear you are into pussy". Then tell them Flexi sent you.
  • I love how you say the bodega "with the cat inside" because that's everysinglebodegaever.
  • "I hear you are in to pussy."

    ...

Umm, isn't this supposed to work here?

    ...

This is the bodega of the Brooklyn internets after all.
[waiting for my delivery in the mail any time now!!]
    ;)
  • You'll see that people here always aren't very helpful - they have to turn every topic into something else...anyway, I believe there's another store on 5th Avenue between 9th and 10th or 10th and 11th you can try...I know they make all sorts of juices and I believe they also have a large selection of herbal products
  • Did you try the Park Slope Food Coop? They have the same products Back to the Land has and a lot more. Also, this works in case you really are looking for pot, because you'll find plenty of tokers there too.

That health food store is out of business.

<---wondering if Peanuts is serious and didn't notice/understand the 420 reference.

    :?:
  • ^oy. Here we go for some enlightenment:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/420_(cannabis_culture)

    or

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/20/what-420-means-the-true-s_n_188320.html

If you really don't know what this means or haven't seen it anywhere, take a look at Craigslist .....you can also find roommate postings for houses that are "420 friendly".

    (end of afterschool special)
  • johnnyanonymous, speaking as a Moderator for a moment...

I'll definitely give you credit for local knowledge, mentioning Back to the Land etc.

But how is it that the IP address used for both of your posts is coming in from РОССИЯ (Russian Federation...you know, image and whatnot)?

    Just curious.
  • ^ OMG.....KGB :lol::lol::lol:
  • Heh, the IP address in question checks out as an anonymous proxy so he could very well be posting this from anywhere (including right here in the neighborhood, so let's not jump to conclusions here).

Just curious when I see someone cruising along in a souped-up invisible boat mobile, that's all.

  • ^I'm a conspiracy theorist. Thinking he's KGB is much more fun :-)
  • Honestly... i wish I knew what this post is about. I thought it was a thinly veiled question about "Where can I buy weed in Park Slope?" but then again, I'm not so sure. Or does he want bundles of sage and other foraged plants for his tea.

The latter is far more "grown-up" -- since I started smoking pot when i was 15, I don't think of it as very adult... though, I would like an answer to that question.
  • Wait, the OP has been here since APRIL and doesn't know where to buy weed?! Does this person have no job or friends?! My first job in the city was full of potheads (most of whom were 40+, six-figure income types.) I feel like you have to be trying to NOT know someone who smokes...
  • All of this is quite simple, actually.

Zero score in six months or so,
    johnnyanonymous brought forth
    upon this forum,
    a new quest,
    concealed in legitimacy,
    and dedicated to the proposition
that all men are supplied herbal.

  • call my guy. (718) 499-9380
  • Whoa Daveon 8th..

If that is a number to make a connection how sloppy of you to post it in open forum.
Or could be a joke. Either way (or some other way my mind doesn't catch) the moderators should probably remove that number.
  • Someone needs to learn how to use the internets... google tells me thats the number for five guys on 7th ave.

Damn Carmen, you don't have a source and had to check out Dave :)
