amy sohn is doing a reading at the boing boing in the south slope tomorrow. i think it starts at 11? the store says "o, hi boing" on the awning on 7th ave. near 15th st. (?) her book was bought by HBO, i hope it's more "larry david" and less "sex and the city." :roll:

  • I have to say Ted Danson is hysterical on Bored to Death. And Zach Galifianakis is wonderful. I'm sorry there's only one episode of that left this season.

  • I don't get the appeal of a reading. I can read. Most people above age 5 can read. And these aren't professional readers, they are writers.

    Instead of a reading, what they should have is a writing. The author should go in front of the audience, sit before a typewriter and write for everyone. Now THAT would be interesting to see.
