The Rant Rave thread

Things just got busy and I forgot. Let's talk aver drink this week and plan it for after the holidays... lots of people are leaving town this month and December. Till then, we can do this air hockey night.

Have started post in the Prospect Hgts forum.... dunno why - I guess I could've done it here... and Brownstone Billiards is in Park Slope but....

I suggested Wed Dec 2. I have an evening job right now and seem to get Weds off. But if the majority prefer Friday that's fine I'll just meet y'all after when I finish (at midnight).

Stuck in NY.


Can't leave until I take/am scheduled to take the damn CUNY test.

When? I don't know. :mad:

All I know is that it will be before Jan 26th. That's all I fuckin' know.

I don't know. When I asked she said they will send me a letter.

I can't go to Detroit and then they send me a letter to take the test a few days later!! I wanted to stay for a month. 2 weeks would be the least. Also , a bus??? Are you insane? Do you know how long I'll be sitting on the bus? Double digit hours! No way.

Classes start on the 28th of Jan , not 26th, my bad. Anyway , that's all I got.I can't go again till the summer , if even, bcuz I really want to be in school full time for the whole year.

Oh well. Can't always get what you want,right?

Forget about the bus. It's out of the question so don't ever throw it on the table again.ever.

I always travel alone and their ain't no way my parents will allow me to get on a "to NYC or bust" bus.

If I get to Detroit and be forced to leave a few days or even a week later...I'd be so pissed,my nieces and nephews will be sad ,my siblings will laugh at me,my FBFF will be sad, my dad will tell me not to go ,my mom will be upset and I'll get yelled at for not waiting till I take the test .Even if it means me not going at all. It's like serving a delectable sugar free chocolate cake to a diabetic...only it's NOT sugar free. It would kill them and me and the poor diabetic.

I am in the final stages of interviewing with another employer.
I am optimistic that they will make me an offer prior to Thanksgiving.
Do you anticipate that ************ could provide me with some certainty before then?
