A place for booze and music for the middle aged?
Hubby and I are going out to dinner tonight and I thought it would be nice to go someplace after for drinks and to listen to music. Any suggestions? Obviously not someplace where everyone else in there is going to be young enough to be our kids, but, also not a place where OUR parents would go. thanks

Barbes, but sometimes too crowded for me.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!
Flexi, I was thinking of Barbes, it looks like a cool place and then hubby and I can walk home form there. A bonus! -
Lts, what about Puppets? Aji?

I second Aji! Especially if they are doing Jazzy music.

Puppets would be a good after dinner place.
Aji gets very loud if there is live music.
Trust me.. I live on the block and I don't need to go THERE to hear the music.
