  • I live one short block outside of their delivery area. Not happy about that.

I'm fat. I eat a lot. Will they reconsider?
  • The trini tamarind wings are wonderful.

Also, they give you all biodegradable(sp?) packaging! I think it's wonderful to have a business in the area that is doing their part to minimize the use of styrofoam(sp?) and plastics.
  • didn't buck the trend, pound of Trini, mango salad and sweet pot fries. Really great. Little clean spot and a unique menu layout. Said the code word after we had our food so no "Lava" love in the way of free tastes. Lemonade was really lemonie. This place is really good and the island people running it are the nicest
  • Daver and I got delivery- food was hot, my fries weren't soggy. Wings were really good!
Great new addition- very happy customers! =D>

Lucky! I wish I was inside their delivery area, but I'm not. I have to make my way over to Nostrand eventually and try this place!

good to know -- their menu online says closed on sunday.

that said, i *wish* there was a vegetarian wing option -- i LOVE LOVE LOVE wings and feel that if i start eating meat again it will be for wings because i won't be able to help myself one day when sitting too near them. the place looks great - just makes me jealous.

the really nice woman behind the counter said that there was such a demand to be open on Sundays that they had to accommodate.

but IMO, if you want BANGING veggie bbq wings, then hit this spot up. the prices are awesome and the selection is great.

or you could just hit up the bazillion vegetarian spots on nostrand or the veggie spot on fulton bet throop and tompkins (the name escapes me right now)

The girl who took our order over the phone was super-super sweet and I think it was actually the same girl who delivered it to us! She deserves a raise, doing two jobs like that!
  • These guys are awesome!
Mrs. C and I ordered delivery tonight, and as everyone has said, they are really nice, both on the phone and in person. The wings are terrific. We got 2 full (1 lb each) combos, which is a good size portion if you have a hearty appetite like I do. We got to try 4 flavors: Bajan Merry Mango, Pineapple Jerk, Trini Tamarind, and Chili Cilantro. We liked them all, but the Trini Tamarind was our favorite. We tried both the potato wedges and sweet potato, and while they were both tasty, we're going to take a tip from Bentley and probably stick to the amazing gooey sweet potatoes in the future. The mango salad and pineapple ginger salad were both fresh and tasty, with nice green leaf lettuce that was crisp and not wilted at all. The iced tea and lemonade were also good; Mrs. C made a mixture of them, which she liked better than either one alone. All in all, this is food that is obviously prepared by people who care, with quality ingredients and at a fair price ($18 plus tip for a filling meal for 2 people). It is many steps above Wing Wagon in every respect.

Thank you mrsuperwings for extending your delivery range! Super Wings is definitely going to be in our regular rotation for delivery from now on.

Meatlovers UNITE! Much love to the Brooklynians for all the support. The best part of all this is that we are loving what we do.
WINGS are our passion so to see so many appreciate the vision...Perfect!
    Time for some fun..

    Feeling hot hot hot!
  • While I am neither within the delivery are nor a fan of wings in general (and am thus not liable to ever try this place, sorry) I just wanted to chime in and mention how refreshing the behavior of this business owner is- his post is well-written and concise, he seems genuinely interested in his customers and his business and he's promoting without being overly "shil"y. So many business owners come on these boards to promote and turn off the sometimes snarky readership that comprises brooklynian (myself included.) It's encouraging to see a business owner really putting in the effort (and possibly even proofreading and spell-checking! And using correct grammar!)

Kudos. And if the boy forces me out for wings sometime I'll be sure to mention you and refer to the glowing reviews in this thread!

I know the owner. She is very personable and seems to be a conscientious business person. Your comments hit the mark. Her attitude is, indeed, refreshing. I might add: while I was not previously a fan of chicken wings, I am now. Superwings' wings--and everything else they offer--are really delicious!
  • Yes! Football Sunday just got better!

they are closed on Sunday. I imagined them as a key component to my football Sunday but it was not to be. Go Saints!

they're open on sundays now from 12p-10p
  • That is great news. Wing Wagon platter was good also and had lots of good fried stuff and had leftovers with 7 people eating it. I am going to order big for Sunday.
  • Subject: Many thanks

Wings are all 'a-flutter' with the compliments, the team is hovering right now! Our goal now...Consistency.
Thanks to all the singing samplers who stopped by on Friday, we had a blast hearing the slighty off-key , slightly tipsy versions of HOT HOT HOT we got last night. To our guy in red who added a hip swirling happy jig, you deserve TWO samples
Think your version could be hotter??? Stop by tonight, the LAVA sampling continues.
  • THE SUPERWINGS FAMILY wants to thank everyone for their continued Support!
    LET'S GO JETS!
Please be safe & have a Super Football Sunday!
