park slope and the landlord

saw the 1970 movie 'the landlord' on t-c-m, and got a thrill out of seeing what portions of park slope looked-like back then. am wondering: does anyone know where the delapidated brownstone that the lead character bought is/was?

  • I heard it was around Prospect Pl & 6th Ave, but I believe it might have been on Berkeley bet 7th & 8th because of the exterior and interior detailing of the buildings.
  • I believe it was about six months ago that the N.Y. Times did an article, with the exact address, pointing out the irony of using Park Slope for a "ghetto apartment setting" and how the neighborhood has changed in the past 30+ years..
