Hey Suzie. I noticed a Jean Hart had posted some recipes to the other thread I started here on 'Brooklyn Back When' but I don't believe I know her from the neighborhood. I also noticed that somehow she totally removed 'em. Maybe she was haunted by her great great great granma for revealing 'olde time family recipes' and removed 'em for that reason...lol. That "other Brooklyn site" you mentioned is in fact not another site at all Suzie. It is another TOPIC of this 'Brooklyn Back When' section of 'Brooklynian'. Just as the thread we are now and have been posting on 'DAILYSLOPE<~~POST HERE PLEASE!' is a topic of 'Brooklyn Back When' which again is a part of this 'Brooklynian' site. This site has many different areas, topics and threads in different sections but my thread was/is a part of 'Brooklyn Back When'. I felt the need to try and clear this up a bit but for some it might have become even more confusing. I think I got it straight but quite honestly it can be somewhat confusing to those of us...especially me...that aren't familiar with this type of environment. Believe me...I hadda backspace and delete and go over this more than once because i saw my own confusion shinin through. CAPICHE?!? -
hmmmm...another point for me to bring up here is that the moderators or administrators or both have the ablilty to see if someone that posts here that decides they wanna change names and come in here and harass people or make a fool of themsleves can be identified as one and the same person IF that is the case. Just find the post the troll has made and report it to one of the mods and I believe they can handle it from there. Sooooooo...to any troll out there that wasn't aware of this...BE WARNED!! HEH!!

Good morning! I was not friends with Judy Occhigrosso but knew her brother. I don't know his real name but we called him Archie. I remember the Mulligan house very well. I wonder if it is still there since it was a nice piece of property. I lived at 347 which is across the street and up the block a few houses and I graduated from St. Johns in 1960.
No one in my family was a teacher but I now have two daughters who teach. My cousin John Bambino lived upstairs from me and my other cousins Richie and Joseph lived down the block = almost across the street from the Mulligan house.
This weekend is my Christmas decorating weekend. Thanks for your notes! -

To all of you going Christmas shopping today, good luck! If they gave stuff away for free, I would not go. I rather stay home with my daughters and granddaughter and put up the tree and decorations. -
Hi Everyone!!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a great day being all together. Mom was doing good today. It wasn't very organized as it would have been if mom was in charge, but we tried our best LOL. At one point we were eating about ten minutes until we realized that my son Michael and Jolene's son Anthony wasn't even at the table with us. LOL LOL That would of NEVER happened with mom in charge!!!!!!!
I am also off today, trying to catch up with a few thing around the house.
PS. I will start the Christmas countdown December 1st!!!!!!! -

I WAS SHOPPING AT KOHLS WITH MY SISTER WAS NOT BAD LINES MOVED FAST. WENT ABUT 9 30. SAME SALES AS 4 AM SO WHAT IS THE RUSH.

Hi All:
I think everyone is doing the same thing, decorating. We just came
in from doing the outside. It got so cold. I'm now getting ready for my
daughter, son in law and granddaughter to come for dinner. My daughter's
birthday is today. She's 30. Where did the time go. I sound like my
mother now when I say that but I can't believe it. So everyone rest up.
Christmas is just around the corner and we will be tired and full of
food all over again. LOVE................ -
