child hood memories of brooklyn

what are some of your fun childhood memories growing up in brooklyn. i just want to add, going school shopping in MAYS,GOODWINS. AND EATING AT MC CRORYS. downtown brooklyn was a wonderland for me in the 1960s. and coney island in the 1960s was paradise. the rides like flight to mars,spookarama, twirl a whirl, and the show where this lady turned into a ape before your eyes,where i booked and left my sister. lol lol. and playing double dutch and hop scotch at the local park in my neighborhood. ah those were good memories.
