I am planning a joint party for my sister and daughter and would like to hire a caricaturist. Does anyone have any recommendations?

  • Dan Springer is a friend of mine from Art school, check him out, he's pretty great.

  • Heres his personal contact if you want to get in touch with him directly.

  • Hi,

I don't live in Brooklyn, but my son does, so I'm somewhat familiar with the area. I've done caricatures at parties, craft fairs and other events for many years and always get a great response. Because I don't do it exclusively I'd probably be more affordable than a full-time artist (I'm also a working writer), and if you're interested I can e-mail you some samples of my work.

I don't know the age of your sister and daughter or your guests, but just so you know I'm also great with kids, and am actually the author of a popular children's book you can learn more about my Googling my name.

I'll look forward to your return post. Thanks.

  • A few years back, my wife and I decided to have a caricature drawn of the two of us for our wedding save the dates.

The drawing came out fantastic and so with that, I can highly recommend Marlene Kryza -- [email protected]
  • Ooh I was about to post re: Marlene too. She is a friend, but is also great at these things! I recommend too.
