  • A trip to Farrell's would probably kill the bed bugs dead. :rambo:
  • thank the gods i haven't been there in years.
  • it used to be a great place after they renovated, but it has deteriorated ever since with or without bedbugs. it was the only movie place I like and enjoy going without problems.

Because it's clearly conjecture right now. Let's face it, the rodent children running around Park Slope are more of a pest.
    hilarious. and true.

crap. i just went to see a movie for the first time in 3 years and i chose pavillion. i knew there was a reason i stayed away from theaters.
  • MOD NOTE: Just now deleted a pavillion-bedbugs-me-too fake comment this morning posted by a spammer in India just trying to get his link in here. If you saw it just disregard as usual spam, not valid part of the discussion.
  • Subject: bb

i live in baltimore city and i have bedbugs, very sad, very discouraging, probally my own fault too..........
  • I've been to the Pavilion a few times in the past couple of months and have not had any bed bug problems, so hopefully it was mere rumor or been taken care of.
  • It was not a rumor. Not everyone is affected the same way. I went to a movie on 42nd street in Time Sq. a few weeks ago and got bit there too. I am banning myself from movie theaters alltogether.
  • I don't know if they have bedbugs or not, but the first and only time I went there a mouse ran over my foot.
  • Probably it was running away from the bedbugs...
  • I am not a gossip monger but anecdotal evidence rules when I evaluate if I will see a movie in this theater any time soon. If there is a problem the Pavillion ( geez did I spell the name of the theater correctly or not?) owners need to make their presence known on the net and everywhere else and explain there WAS a problem and it has been dealt with otherwise they deserve to lose the business that they will lose with this "problem" being talked about here and everywhere.
  • when in doubt, not worth the risk.
  • yes indeed!
  • Whether or not the bedbugs are a rumor, the theaters with the purple seats are prohibitively disgusting. There are lots of clean theaters in New York. Pavilion is doing it wrong.
