Lot 2
Went for dinner on Saturday night, and was blown away. The food is amazing...different and delicious. What we had:
Reasonably priced white wine
Fennel salad (never knew fennel could be so good)
Lipstick on a Pig (basically a terrine-y thing that was awesome)
Steamed Clams (very fresh tasting. Not a huge clam fan, but husband loved it)
Neck 3 ways (two sausages and 1 shredded meat)
Cauliflower (really tasty but a little small)
Definitely worth the trek. Staff is trying really hard and is super friendly.

Did this place just open? I was going to physical therapy right there for a while and I don't remember seeing it (at least with this name).
6th Ave and 20th for those wondering. -
It used to be Kitchen Bar, I think.
-
that's a hot area with the new lucali opening soon on 20th and 6th ave also...

There's some connection between Lot 2 and Southside Coffee, i've been told
I've seen the same guy waiting tables at L2 and pulling espresso shots at SS -
oh lot 2 is soooo delicious
I waited to long to try it. I agree with new2hood... i usually dislike fennel but I was one of the most delicious salads I ever had! Portion was nice as well. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and melted freshly in my mouth. I haven't had scallops like that since I bought them fresh off the dock one time from a fisher man. yums. I hear the burger is great too! -
the burger is the best i've had in park slope.
probably one of the best i've ever had in new york city.
and yes, the fennel and scallops are AMAZING too.
this is seriously one of the top 5 restaurants in park slope...people just need to FIND IT! -
FYI, the fennel salad at The Vanderbilt is also great.
-
the fennel salads at lot 2 and the vanderbilt are the 2 best i've ever had.
and i make a pretty darn good one.

Went for their Sunday Supper for the 2nd time and it was fantastic, slow roasted lamb stew. Also had their burger again and I agree, one of the best I've had in a long time.

One more vote for Lot 2 burgers. I went last night after reading above posts. Service was good, they let me taste sample a couple of wines. My only complaint is the burgers took a long while to come out. I would've liked some bread or something else to munch on while we waited.
PS 20th and 6th Ave - is that still south slope? I'd call that area greenwood hts.

The Chef says it's Sunset Park.

Thanks for the reviews, will check it out. -
20th and 6th is so not sunset park! As for Greenwood heights, this is a name i have only heard the last year or two and only on this board.
I do want to check this place out, they have a tiny menu from what I can see online. -
just fyi...seems that new york city department of city planning in 2005 designated 15th street to 24th street and prospect park west to 4th avenue "south park slope"
***
South Park Slope, Brooklyn is a neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. It is sandwiched between Greenwood Heights and Park Slope, bordered by 15th Street to the north, 24th Street to the south, Fourth Avenue to the west, and Prospect Park West and Green-Wood Cemetery to the east. While the name "south Slope" has been used for many years, the area was officially designated "South Park Slope" when it was rezoned by the New York City Department of City Planning in 2005.[1] It is primarily made up of pre-war row houses, although there has been a spate of new, high-rise construction in recent years.
