  • LOL! Wow, now that is a statement!
  • Ridiculous. He can't put that inside?
  • Haha... Extra funny to me because my dermatologist just recommended an hour ago that I see this guy. Unfortunately he doesn't take my insurance and I doubt I can get enough out of that ATM to cover it out of pocket...
  • The hospital has two ATMs - one of which is Chase, where I have an account. It's the closest Chase to me, so I have to go to the hospital every time I need cash. I can't help but to wonder if I'm taking cash that someone may need in order to pay for an emergency operation. Does the hospital takes cash too?
  • Like The Old saying is Cash is King

Heh, I wouldn't worry too much--I don't think ATMs run out of cash very often. And I doubt surgeons hold up an emergency operation to wait for a cash payment. And if they do, it sure as hell isn't going to be covered by the $200 max ATM withdrawal. :)

its a good thing, well maybe not for getting robed.
  • Well, if you've got that $20 co-pay, I guess this would be useful. Assuming anybody still has insurance, of course.
  • There is a Chase ATM inside the hospital?!? What an awesome revelation! I live on 8th & 8th, and previously had either walked to 5th Ave and 9th Street or 7th Ave and Carroll.

I know it's irrational. I know I'm not going to take the last of the cash from the ATM and then have someone frantically come up saying that they need the cash machine to pay for their mother's operation or the doctor won't operate. And that the doctor will leave if he doesn't get his cash in five minutes.

Still, I always feel like I'm kind of doing something wrong.
