shot bottles of liquor? — Brooklynian

shot bottles of liquor?

scarlett
edited November -1 in Park Slope
I have just discovered that my agency's "Holiday Cocktail Party" will not actually be serving cocktails, only beer and wine. So I think I would like to give my staff liquor leis.

Where is a good liquor store/warehouse with tons of 99 cent liquor bottles?

Comments

  • The liquor store on 5th avenue near Blockbuster sells tons of airplane size bottles of alcohol, biggest variety I have seen around here, though, they don't cost 99 cents.
  • Is that Bay River? Any idea how much they are? Was just in CO and the huge liquor stores had AISLES of them, all 99 cents.
  • alasThat nasty store on 5th ave between 8th and 9th is closed. That is the one with the bullet proof glass and the attitude. They had plenty of those tiny bottles!
  • my neighbor was a longtime employee of that place on 5th, he said it will be reopening as a nicer liquor store (with good wine and stuff!) I'm excited, maybe I won't have to hoof it to red/white/bubbly or slope cellars anymore. That place next to the gate is cute but its so expensive...
  • Check that place that is in the Pathmark behind Lowes.
  • Carmen.. I live close by too.... and if it reopens in a nicer way I would be thriled.

I won't miss the little bottles.. if they don't stock them.. never bought them anyway,,lol!
  • Not sure of the price, but Sterling Grapes across from Key Foods on 5th ave has little bottles for sure.
  • Yeah, the place I am talking about on 5th "Avenue near Blockbuster is called Bay River, and they have tons of those size bottles,. the place across from 5th avenue Key Food has them also, but Bay River has a much bigger selection.

I can't remember how much they are, I have bought a couple here and there, and I want to say $2.00 or 2.50, depending on what you are buying, but always bought it with other stuff, so not really sure
  • Warehouse Liquor on Broadway near Astor Place in the city has lots and for good prices.
