Who can blame you when you've been sick for so long- get thee to a doctor STAT!
-
SWINE FLU!! :pig: :pig: :pig: :pig:
or bronchitis :clown: yup, go see your doctor -
I agree that it may be bonchitis - I'd get to a doctor if I were you.
-
go to the doctor but a LOT of people have had a month long mild or severe lingering flu. so, you're probably not dying. good luck!

I've been battling a cold-type thing for almost 5 weeks. It seems to get a teeny bit better about every 3 days and then worse again, with a lingering ever-present cough (which actually got me sent out of my classroom today.) I think this flip-flopping weather has something to do with it...
as someone who frequently gets sinus infections/ear infections/bronchitis, I know that this is NOT one of those things (no fever, no aches, not a lot of fatigue) and I can only assume its just a bad (or multiple bad) colds. When you find the miracle cure, let me know

Not to be confused with bonkitis
Ow that's gotta hurt. Good luck! -
Everyones been gettin this persistent cold lately. I'd reccomend Airborne and lots of green tea.
-
I have it too. I haven't been able to breathe properly or sleep well in weeks.

Sucks. -
I had a cold for an entire month this fall. It was "just" a cold but it was horrible and long-lasting. I finally went to a doctor three weeks into it. They gave me 4 prescriptions mostly to help with the symptoms. One of those was an antibiotic which I wasn't supposed to take unless my symptoms worsened. I took it anyway. I was well enough to join the real world again about 4 weeks after I got it. Good luck.

I have the same thing and expect it to last several more weeks. A friend had it and it turned into pneumonia. Take it easy!! Get lots of rest.
-
sounds like what we had over here last spring, which i really think was swine flu. we were sick for something like 5 weeks.
-
I was sick for 5 weeks this fall but I work with little kids with runny noses so it's not as uncommon for me.

Here's a home remedy which may be helpful on top of all of the regular medicines you may get from your doctor. Chop a small piece of fresh ginger root and place it in a small pot of water. Add one lime sliced and bring to a boil. Let it boil for about five minutes, strain out the ginger and lime and add sugar or honey to taste. If you drink a cup a day it will help clear the sinuses as well as cut the mucus in the chest.
Hope you feel better and get over this soon. -
That sounds like it'd be fantastic with rum.
(Sorry, it is Friday, that was the first thing that popped into my head. Feel better all of you!)
Howdy, Stranger!
