just dropped in to say hi, and wish u all well today...
just got home from connnecticut where i spent a nice TLC weekend with my GODmother, my namesake, my Aunt Festina.
ahhhh, how she always knows just how to licks my wounds, God Bless her and me for havin her touch my life.
i can only hope dat miss or mr. "guest" (as i saw in readin back,) has someone to lick his/hers too.
he/she sounds as if they don't believe in the love of friendship, or the healing dat can come out of it, from the love and concern of friends who, although cannot fix ur problems, do care enuff about u to keep u in their minds under the best of wishes for u. dats really all u can ask for, no?
please come back - miss or mr. guest, and say something nice, and we will too back at u, and make u too feel as if u "belong" here with us, ones who r not unfamiliar with emotional pain and longing for a sense of belonging.
it's really all about healing dat comes thru some kind of love.
i for one, know and see ur beauty, even tho u try to hide it thru ur defenses.

I met wonderful people from Rhode Island - she was born
and raised in Westerly and currently lives in Charlestown.
How she described the area where she lived, it reminded
me of your quaint town.
Hope you are all warm and safe. Joe's pictures fooled me with
the snow. My in-laws who live 19 miles from my former home
in NJ had 7 inches (they're in Budd Lake). Yikes...
The Boat Parade was nice. Not too cold out there. And I didn't
cry. Last weekend there was a parade in town and the first out
were the American Legion - with the flags - very emotional.
Then not too far behind was Animal Rescue - so you know I
lost it totally by then. Then I saw a little girl who looked like
my Faith. It was bittersweet.
Ok - didn't mean to go off on tangent. Better go get ready.

went to the christmas fair, got a couple cute things, for my grandkids and daughter inlaw. wind up over my son house. they were going to decorate tonight
their tree is so big around, took up alot of space, they have to go out to buy more lights.kids made christmas cookies, took some home going to have with my coffee,
