mostly before the turnstile...and a scattered few on trains.
how bout those cute little bomb sniffer dogs...oh right we don't have enough money. maybe states like iowa, north dakota etc could loan us some of their homeland security money since all 50 states got the same amount from the gov.
for jehovah's sake...they don't have a transportation system...why are they getting the same amount of money...and what the heck are they going to use it for...protecting their dairy queens? -
oh yea! they set up shop at the clinton-washington station. at least that's what i read. so tell your bomber friends to use an alternate entrance.

They're on back-order. But as soon as they're back in stock, I'm getting 3 (you can't be too careful). Not yet, but with the spyware DH has installed on all of our hard drives, it won't be long now...
Well I heard they have the tin hats at red lipstick that keep the government from being able to spy on your internet habits.
I'll have one in the window on Saturday, promise! Can this possibly be more of an in-joke? I love you guys. We need to communicate without FBI or CIA interception. -
saturday newsflash on profiling
the London police admitted today that they made a mistake when they shot that guy yesterday in the tube..they followed him from an apartment they were watching in conjunction with the unsuccessful bomb attempts the day before . . .
"For somebody to lose their life in such circumstances is a tragedy and one that the Metropolitan Police Service regrets," the statement said.
I'm so happy to see intelligent discussion of this bag search nonsense on this board. All other indications I have show NYers happy to show their backpacks (full of gay porn glossies and mousetraps?) -

not to bring something up well after the fact or start a fight, but there are a lot of people for whom taking a cab isnt an option. lets say poor people or handicapped people. so in essence we are limiting the "right to privacy" to the wealthy and the abled. the whole "you can walk away" option isnt really an option for alot of people. and thats where i object to the search and seizure stuff.

Subject: security ideas that might work
"Can anyone else suggest some safety impreovements that they think would work?"
How about encouraging free and fair trade around the world, the spread of democracy and human rights, and for a really radical idea, NOT attacking other countries that haven't attacked us?
