Hi Rabbi: I am sorry that I can't attend but would be there if I could.
It is sad that in this strange world of tats and texts and piercings and bulimia and isolation and cutting that few will admit to, no one on the forum ever even has the decency to respond to you.
Tell me, has this world become sad enough for you yet?
All the best to you and yours! -
Wow, that was dark.
Happy Chanukah, Rabbi! -
Park Place- you should chill. The Rabbi comes on here and makes announcements that don't require a response. I'm sure he's not offended in the least. He posts his events and leaves it at that. What's your problem?
Oh yea, and Happy Chanukah, Rabbi! -
Park Place, that was weird. I read the post, thought it sounded like a lot of fun, but couldn't attend.. Why would I comment? It's not rude to say nothing if you have nothing to say.

Interesting. I do not see it as dark.
Got a few responses as well.
Interesting. -
Park Place,
Speaking as a moderator, it's even more interesting that all of your posts are from various suburbs West of Boston.
Just looking back through your prior posts, which run the gamut from...
- recommending the South Bronx over Brooklyn
to
- confusing the 6th Ave/9th Street library branch with the main BPL at GAP
(perhaps indicating less knowledge of the area than your name would suggest)
to
- commenting on various crime threads in a fairly condescending tone
I have to ask:
Exactly what are you looking to contribute to or get out of this site? -
PWND!!

Dear park pl.
Nice to hear from you and hope you will be able to make the next event or class. As Whatchuwant stated, many of our post are not intended to stimulate conversation but rather to notify of ongoing programs and events in the nabe. Thanks, all for “getting my back” though I was not offended in the slightest but appreciate the support as i believe you meant well. And btw, we have gotten many responses in the past both on the forum and in private, so keep em’ coming…
And finally Park pl. don’t get too down, Chanukah is about illumination and inspiration. That the smallest of lights we kindle daily can dispel much darkness and bring energy, light and joy into our lives. So next time you light the menorah, or tree or whatever, don’t just observe them, “listen” to their message.
Happy chanukah and holidays to all!
Howdy, Stranger!
