MIssing Bass Guitar - 8th Ave between Garfield Montgom

I'm desperately searching for my 1996 Sadowsky vintage 5 string bass guitar. It has a sunburst body, maple neck, and tortoise-shell pick-guard with the serial number 2552. It was lost on December 12, 2009 at 2 AM in Park Slope, Brooklyn on 8th Avenue between Garfield Place and Montgomery Place. I’d happily give a cash reward for its return. The instrument has a ton of sentimental value to it. I’ve played it on four continents, everywhere from small cruddy clubs to Carnegie Hall. As a professional bassist, it's my main instrument. Anyone who’s seen it, or has it, please e-mail at [email protected]. To see a pic, go to http://lostsadowsky.wordpress.com/

Thanks,

Dan

  • If I were you, I'd post this on Only the Blog Knows Brooklyn and Brownstoner. Also, call Beth Elohim Temple and the Montauk Club to see if anyone turned it in at either of those places.

    Good Luck!!
  • I would also put up a poster at Southpaw on 5th Avenue. Good luck and hope it comes back to you soon.
