if it's got power you might try dialing 611 (send) on it and see if they can tell you who it belongs to, or get a message to the owner.

Did the owner put their name / e-mail inside the battery? (A smart person would do that)

Yep, the owner is the craigslist poster. God, I would have a heart attack if my phone was lost!
