cat found on bergen /dean- a colony cat? deli cat?

if you know of anyone that feeds the local colony cats or a deli who may be missing their cat pls email me at [email protected] this cat has been fixed and seems lost rather than a stray...thank you

    There's a sign on 7th avenue around 9th/10th/11th street about a lost cat. I'll try and look at it on the way home tonight.

    If the ear is tipped it means that it is has been neutered and is probably part of a colony. good luck

    yes, Stacey I do believe so but no idea where to return him or her to..and its unfortunate because s/he is so friendly and with winter coming ..ugh...anyway, if anyone sees anyone feeding strays in the neighborhood pls pass along my info ...they may recognize this one...

    BTW.. with the hard times everyone is going through even TNR groups that neuter these cats can't place the ones that have been abandoned and can be rehabilitated and placed in homes.. AKA not ferals just homeless.

    My Don Gato, now with us a year was TNR'd and released back in to the cold. He was obviously someones pet at one point, we found him injured and limping. He's now healthy, happy and in love with my boyfriend.

    If this cat is friendly and loving AND you can't find his owners, PLEASE contact your local foster agencies. This is a short list there are more, do a google search (no kill!! places!!!)

    What's the cross street? Bergen and Dean don't cross and they are both pretty long streets. There is a cat colony on Bergen between 5th & Flatbush, next to City Sub in the vacant lot.

    sorry..found him ...just saw its a HE...on sixth avenue bet bergen and dean...Ill leave a note and see if someone who feeds them will call me or recognize this guy....hes the farthest from feral Ive ever encountered...tx for the heads up!

    hmm caseo that looks like one of the guys that was relocated to Underhill when they started construction on the lots there on Dean (closer to Vandy though). He has been missing from the Underhill colony for about a year or more. Maybe LauraB will recognize him.

    I think I know this cat, but I would need to see a better photo... Is he kind of big, for a stray? If it's the same cat, I think he was dumped a few years ago and took up with the colony in the empty lot next to City Sub on Bergen. I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks. He's very friendly, but he's been on the streets for a couple of years now. He belongs inside with people. I hope he finds a forever home soon.. Keep us posted!

    I spoke to Martha and she didnt think it was that black and white one but thats when I thought HE was a SHE..so maybe it is? Im going to bring him back there today and see if he recognizes it but with all of the construction there I agree its a dangerous place for those cats who will soon have no place to call home...as it is there isnt any shelter that I know of...I was going to make some...right now I just need a foster mom or dad...

    It's hard to tell without seeing him in a sitting or standing position, but I'm almost positive that's the same cat.
