I meant to say PARK PLACE Shuttle Stop — Brooklynian

I meant to say PARK PLACE Shuttle Stop

While standing on the platform of the Park Place Shuttle I realized I created a post (my first ever) and used the wrong station name. So if you are wondering what the hell, go to the latest Post marked 'Should we wait for the MTA to clean the Prospect Pk shuttle station' and take it from there.

For those who thought I was speaking of the Prospect Pk stop probably considered it somewhat clean.

But the focus is on the Park Place stop and the litter/garbage/bike frame that is collected in an area which could look better if we all pitch in to help clean it or make annoying phone calls to superintendent of the station Kevin Berry @ 718 694 3025

Or we can set up a date and time to all get together bringing supplies to climb the fence created by artist ISHA SHABAKA and get down and dirty ourselves.
It needs to start here on this network

Who's with me?!?!

  • Agreed -- that stop is hella dirty. I like the idea of getting a group of people together to clean up the station, but I bet we'd face possible trespassing hooey from MTA if we climbed the fence. Howsabout getting the station manager's permission, if he doesn't get it cleaned up in a reasonable amount of time?

I would be sure to invite the media as well. MTA will love a picture of concerned citizens cleaning up their filthy stations.
