Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

Hey Guys:

Yes, we do have to enjoy every minute that we have. It's odd, Grace always told me she knew she was going to die young like her Mom. I would always say, stop talking like that. But I guess she had a premonition or soemething. It made me very upset when she said things like that. I have a little musical Christmas cat on my desk that she gave me. You know hwo she was with cats! I'm looking at it now with a smile and a tear. I also have a beautiful fan Christmas ornament she gave that goes on my tree every year. I am sure she is smiling down on this board with love and affection. No one is sitting at her desk that she used to have. It seems so strange everytime I pass it it is empty almost saying that no one could fill her shoes. For some reason the flowers I gave her remain at the desk. No has ever taken them away.

Anthony: I know grandkids are the best. I also have a 7 year old granddson and he is my "little boy." I love spending time with him. He will be 8 on Christmas Eve, so he will have many presents under the tree! He still believes in Santa but I think this may be the last year for that. Oh, well, then Gabriella will take over. Saw your grandkids. They're just beautiful. Keep enjoying them.

Terry, I heard from Freddie, he hasn't been on the computer much but sounds like he's debating whether or not to have surgery again. I'll let you know if I hear something.

Hi Guys, just wanted to pop in for a few minutes then I have to go. Got about 20 cards done last night, and more to go!!! Also, this morning, went to get the H1N1 shot, little by little I'm getting stuff done.
