  • Do you know if its ok to drop stuff at the bar before the day of the party? I have stuff to donate, but am not around that day.

I doubt it, but I guess you could ask at the bar...
  • Just got a note from these folks - even if there's a blizzard, this clothing drive is on.
    Saturday, 2-7p

  • Many have asked about suit donations... Definitely! Often, there is a need for interview clothes for jobs and such... HUGE NEED for these items!

ANY kinds of clothes for ANY season! They can layer it up! And DVDs for the drop-ins and transitional living programs to entertain them when its too cold outside!

See you all between 2PM and 7PM...
  • Just stopped by and dropped stuff off- theres lots of food, lots of people! We didn't stay to eat bc the boy had a hankering for stuffed peppers and we were cooking, but the food looked awesome and the staff was SO freaking nice (I've never been greeted so enthusiastically by a bartender.) I may start going there for occassional beverages if they'll have me (as a straight woman ;) )
  • Right? I had the identical experience, without the stuffed peppers. We had a taste from Chip Shop and Coco Roco AND I had a good reason to clear out a ton of clothes.

Event is done, but I bet there's still time since one of the bartenders is the organizer of the event.
  • I can't believe I missed this! I have two Ikea bags full of clothes to donate. Please let me know if they decide to hold another clothing drop.
