Heating Specialist???
Clearly I am new to the owning game. I would like to have someone (is it a plumber??) come in and take a look at the hvac units in my apartment and give me advice. The settings are low, medium, high on one and the lowest keeps it around 70 in the apartment. I want someone to consult and see if thermometers of any sort can be placed or if that means entire new units. Does anyone have a person they recommend? Thanks

What Pitu says. You don't need a plumber however, you need a HVAC guy. I don't know any HVAC people that work in Brooklyn but you should get some recommendations on Brownstoner.The short answer, yes it is likely that you can install a new thermostat
