Hello “Park Slope”
HAPPY WINTER !!!
How are you? Happy to see you survived
the snow. It is pretty to look at your pictures,
but I don’t miss it at all, especially driving
through it.
As with all of you, things are very hectic.
Not complaining at all. Hope you can all
accept what you just can’t get done – and
Let go!!! You’ll approach Christmas in
a healthier spirit, all around!
We are doing well – thanks for asking for
Me, Paul. xxx
This past Sunday we had a Christmas
Open House and 58 people showed up…
(fortunately, not at the same time).
It was a very wonderfully diverse group,
And a great time was had by all. We
invited all the people who worked on our
house – renovator, painter, electrician, etc.
all our friends, neighbors, my nun friends,
and anyone else who didn’t have anything to do on a Sunday afternoon - lol.
Of course we had too much food and
yesterday I was Meals On Wheels sharing my
7 lbs of leftover Baked Ziti and other food,
--------------------------------------------
Now LISTEN TO THIS ---
I meet the people whose yard meets ours
in the back – and the husband tells me:
He was born in Brooklyn,
Park Slope,
6th Ave,
Between 19th and 20th St…
After I caught my breath, I responded “You
are scaring me, saying that.”
I didn’t not get a chance to talk to him too much more
that night - but will call him to get some more info.
He said he moved away when he was very young
but the family always came back to visit
their grandmother or someone (not sure,
think he said last name was Dunn). This man’s
name (neighbor) is Paul Nesbitt.
Do you believe this? Small world….

Oh Jeanette, I can smell those rice balls!! Um, Um Good (as I sit eating a salad so I can pig out over the next few day!). Enjoy the new dvd player - don't know if you like Star Trek but the most recent movie is on dvd and it's good (but only if you're a trekkie otherwise it won't make sense)
Does anyone realize that we spend A LOT of time talking about food - what we're eating, what we're cooking, how to cook it, how to eat it!!! Must be an Italian, Park Slope thing. I love it and it makes me hungry!!
Oh well, just my 2 cents. -
Ciao for Now…
Stay warm – it was cold here; think my
blood has already thinned (cold, meaning
it was 52 degrees this morning). Yikes…
I’m layered in my NJ cloths right now –
But it should get to 75-79 tomorrow. I’ll
appreciate that!
Many Blessings for a Peaceful Evening!
