Merry Christmas — Brooklynian

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year I wish much health & happiness to all my Friends on this blog.

Just to let you all know I have not been on line in a month or so I have been in the hospital. I went under surgery to have my left leg amputated, I am now in the nursing & rehab center where I spent last summer, I am doing much better it will take time until I get an artificial leg & learn how to walk again.

Thank you all for all the prayers that has been said for me.

  • HI FREDDIE,

I WASN'T SURE THE DATE OF YOUR SURGERY, THINKING OF YOU AND PRAYING FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY AND LEARNING TO WALK AGAIN WITH THE ARTIFICIAL LEG. LOVE AND ALL, WE'LL CALL PETRINA SOON!
  • Hey Fred

You and I didn't know each other growin up in the "old country" (yeah...I stole this from you Terry) but we have gotten to know a little about each other here on this blog. We know some of the same people and might have even played some of the same crazy 'neighborhood' games growin up. I remember reading about your organ transplant on the blog and also reading it from the link you posted on the newspaper article that was written on it, it was/is such a wonderful story. If I were in your place I KNOW I would be havin some wonders, wondering about how things are gonna turn out. Maybe some fear...maybe some anxiety...I dunno. It brings tears to my eyes just thinkin about it. You have been through and come through a lot. This is another STEP that has been set before you. You strike me as the kind of man that is not only UP to the task but anxious to take it on. The BEST of wishes to you on this and a VERY Merry Christmas and an even happier New Year.
