Hi everyone....sorry, I haven't been on the blog since last Wednesday, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve at my daughter's house, she put out a nice spread, the kids had fun and then my son had an allergic reaction to her cat so he had to leave early, the same thing happened last year! I had everyone over Christmas Day, it was fun watching the kids open their gifts. I got stuck with all the leftovers, not good!!!

Patsy, how are you??? .......again, my prayers are with you and your family. I rec'd a call from my cousin, her MIL also passed early Christmas morning in SI. Stay strong Patsy! I sent you a pm.

Warren, you should write a book about the days gone by......you have some very interesting stories, please keep a journal to pass down to your children/grandchildren. I am currently revising a family timeline, it's time consuming ----- though, but full of details!!! The reason being is that our family has grown so large now and I'll occasionally receive a call or e-mail from a niece/nephew asking a question about our past, so this little timeline comes in handy.

I decided to cook for New Years Day!!! Am I nuts???
Anyway I am doing it because from day to day you just don't know. Even though it will be hectic and abut 22 people I am doing it so my family will all be together.
Things have changed through the years. Families are scattered all over and it is so hard to get everyone together. It is not like years ago when we all lived in the same neighborhood and went to Grandmas for the holidays.
I really don't like New Years Eve so I don't do anything big.
Last year it was Joey, Suzie and me on the blog for New years Eve. Mike was working and thank God I had those two.
I'll check in later.

TERRY IM STILL IN RI, HOPEFULLY TO BE IN BROOKLYN NEW YEARS EVE.

HEY CUZ.. I AM COOKING NEW YEAR'S DAY TOO.. MAKING TURKEY WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS.. I DID NOT COOK A TURKEY THIS YEAR, SO THAT'S WHAT I DECIDED TO DO FOR NEW YEAR'S DAY.. I USUALLY SPEND IT W/SOME FRIENDS OF MINE & WE DO CHINESE DINNER ON NEW YEARS ( 15 YRS WE HAVE DONE THIS), BUT I NEED TO RELAX THIS WEEKEND DUE TO ALL THE CHAOS ON CHRISTMAS WEEKEND. THEY UNDERSTAND WHY I AM TAKING A PASS THIS YEAR FOR OUR NEW YEAR'S TOGETHER..

I INVITED THEM, BUT THEY HAVE OTHER PEOPLE COMING, SO THEY CANNOT MAKE IT.. THAT'S FINE, MY DAY WILL BE WITH MY HUBBY & KIDS,
AND I CAN ENJOY MY LITTLE FAMILY..
