#2 A very Happy New Year to all. I know many of you are knocking 2009 but at my age I will take every year and cherish it, even when it has some bad news.
#3 Carol could not care less about New Years Eve. My Scottish heritage draws me to it. Only had one good New Years Eve down here and that was 2000 when we had a great party to welcome in the new century.
Most improtantly let us Wish, Hope and Pray for a Healthy and Happy year for all.
LOVE from your Old Goat in FL :compress: :D:D

  • Good afternoon bloggers and Happy New Year
  • I know that I have been missing in action, but will try to reconnect with all you great people.
  • I also know that I missed a lot, but haven't the attention span to read back. I usually just read the current page.
  • But I am trying to wean myself off facebook a little, lol
  • A woman I know decorated her house for Christmas, but had to take it down because people were driving up on her lawn to assist the decoration and the police told her that she would cause accidents. So here it is.

    Barbar;s Decorations
  • OMG, I would have driven up there to help also. One elderly woman moved the ladder and climbed to the top to help the poor guy (decoration). OMG for sure.
  • I will try to come back when someone is on here. Very rarely saw this blog empty.
  • Again, Happy New Year to all.
  • Hi Everyone!!!

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!!!!!

Wow slept so late today, got home late....trying to clean up...My daughter and boyfriend are coming over for dinner.

I just want to mention something, someone had mentioned this and I think it is very important. Most of us, including me has had a hell of a year in 2009, but I guess we do have to realize all the happy things that we still do have like our kids, health and each other. So while most of us, me included are glad to see 2009 gone, I guess we have to be thankful for the things that were left to us in 2009, and just wish that 2010 brings some of those same things to us, like just being here to wish everyone a new year!!!! OK that is my surmon for the year LOL LOL

Have a wonderful day everyone and I will peek in later.....

Janet - Glad to see you back on here.

Helen - Hearing from your dad...WOW thats all I can say....if this makes you happy, then we are all HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

    Helen:

You are right. He is your father. No matter how long its been, he made
the first move to talk to you. Men are not that bright. We all know that.
Accept whatever time you get with him. He is thinking about you just
by him calling. Hopefully this is going to be a better year for you.
