Loud noises in courtyards/walkways behind buildings

Hi neighbors!

Would any of you happen to live in the vicinity of Franklin and Carroll in one of the buildings on Franklin closer to Carroll or one of the first three buildings on the left hand side after making a left on Carroll?

I ask because every night it sounds like people get to tossing things out of the windows. Does anyone know what this is about? For me, living in one of the first three buildings on Carroll, the noise is pretty loud so maybe it's one of my upstanding co-residents.

Do they keep the trash/recycling for the building back there? I live behind a 25-30 unit building and the walkway that runs parallel to my backyard is where they keep the recycling until pickup days. It gets loud back there early in the morning when the super is bagging and collecting stuff.

I should check into that. I sincerely hope my super is not so rude that he's back there fumbling with recycling at 4am. That's insane.

I was thinking that we have a homeless camp back there OR some of my neighbors are too lazy to walk to the compactor and just toss the garbage out the window.
