Doctors in Park Slope

Please do a search on this board (tab is top right of the banner)
Also, if this is insurance through work you provider listing is the first place to start (they give you a book of providers and specialties and it's also probably online), then you can come back with a few names and see what others think. -
Or perhaps opinions change over time... and looking at old threads is not what he/she wanted to do. Oh yeah, and my GHI insurance book includes about 100 doctors in the general vicinity of Park Slope -- should he/she just pick 3 at random? or?
Or are you overwhelmed by the HUGE quantity of new threads on here? (pssst... there's aren't that many)
Mamacita -- your response was a little passive-aggressive. no? -
By the way, I don't have a doctor in PS. I have been going to this guy who is in Manhattan, but I don't like him. And a friend has recently suggested a new guy who is in Grand Army Plaza -- but I won't say who it is because I don't know if he's any good.

tybur6, I've been on here for years and a mod. Doc's opinions on PS, which I always check, have stayed somewhat steady. Also, there is a vast knowledge base that searching reveals. If you like what someone said last year by all means, post about the person and see if any changes have happened. But asking to do a search before posting has always been mentioned by members and a good starting point for newish members and anyone really, it is not something to get your panties in bunch about. Sorry you are in a bad mood today.
Sometimes someone, as early as last month, might have brought up the same question. I see this often on different subjects. I'm simply offering a way for the person to narrow their choices down and also provide more details as to what their needs are. Insurance info is very important. I've been down the same road (doc wise) twice in the the last 3 years.
My general doc for the past years is Dr. Raff and he has always been recommended by members here for a great Dr in PS. All the threads he's in are still solid recs, just do a search to see :P

Thanks guys. Yeah, I should've searched first. However, I thought I'd be an internet warrior, throw caution to the wind and start a new thread.
Yeah, as a foreigner I ain't too sure about all this medical jazz. However, I will take Mamacita's advice and check my provider listing.
Tybur6, thanks for the support. Which doctor do you use? -
Tyburg,
Yikes. Anything else you'd care to add?
Directing people to search existing threads makes good sense for topics that come up over and over again.
Were those cheap shots really necessary? -
-
Yes - they were. :-)
My doctor was Dr. Malachovsky (sp?) and I've decided I don't like him.
Oh, and this Dr. Raffanin is who was suggested to me too... is he gentle when he checks your undercarriage? -
Wait. Is this another mechanic thread?
-
Thanks all! Appreciate it!

I also went to Dr. Raffinan on Flexi's recommendation and really like him. I like that he takes his time with you during your appointment, going over your medical issues and history. At my previous doctors, it seemed like I spent more time with their staff than the doctor.
