    LOVE AND PEACE TO ALL
    AND HAVE A GOOOOOOOD NIGHT
  • Hi everyone-MaryAnn-how long have you been living in NC? I moved out here in Illinois in 1986. I have a question-were all these people on this blog friends before they blogged? Everyone seems to know each other so well-like one big family! Terry-I moved to Bensenhurst in 1974 (when I got married) so the Coles and the Langs are vaguely familiar-but it sure has been a long time..I know that James & Anthony Oliva would remember my friend Pat Ruggiero from 19th St. (she had a brother Carl-who might still be in the area) (They probably won't know me by Anna Famoso (married name) but Reilly (maiden name) I'm divorced now anyway. Thank you Debbie, MaryAnn and Patsy for the "Welcome"
  • GOOD NIGHT, FRIENDS :)

    'THE BACHELOR' WAS GOOD..
I LOVE WHEN THERE IS A SLUT ON THE SHOW..LOL

PLEASANT DREAMS.. C U ALL IN THE MORNING... XX :)
  • Hi Anthony-my friend Pat Ruggiero married (I think his name was Jose (?) Medina..They had a daughter Donna. They never got divorced and years later she moved in with someone by the name of Frank. They lived on 8th Ave.(around 7th & 8th St.) I still have her phone number. I've called and her voice is still on the answering machine, left messages for Frank to call me back, she still has her email account-left emails numerous times with no answers. I've known her since 1965-I know that she had emphesema and the last time I spoke to her was around November 2007-she told me she couldn't talk to me then but to call her back in a couple of months-I've been trying to reach her ever since. Her parents are in Greenwood Cemetery and have even checked there-for burial searches-nothing. I fear the worst but would feel better if I knew what happened to her. Thank you (her daughter has married so I don't even know her name-seems like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack...)

It just doesn't seem like the blog should start another day without Helen's week day hello.....,.so Helen I did the honors....

Helen - We are all praying for your hubby.....angels all around him.

Anna - I have not lived in Jackson that long, but the name sounds familiar from Brooklyn, my husband grew up on 19th st between 6th and 7th avenues..I will ask him if he remembers Jim.

By the way Anna, most of us grew up in the same neighborhood and attended St. John the Evangelist grammer school, that is where we all know each other from, but there are many others that came aboard this great blog by chance and have become part of a great family, you cannot break that Brooklyn bond.

That is what is happening right now with my mom, she is very sick and I don't want to discredit all her recent friends and family, but the outpouring of love from all our old neighbors from 27th Street have been incredible. Because we always kept in touch and we all have such a special bond that will never be broken. I have been living in New Jersey for over 25 years now and I don't even talk to half my neighbors!!! LOL LOL there is nothing like growing up in Brooklyn!!!!!!!!

Everyone have a nice day...peek in later. Still feel like shit, my stomach and chest is killing me from coughing.....Hey is coughing your brains out the same as doing 100 sit ups!!!! LOL LOL Oh well, it sure feels the same.....
  • Morning Everyone!

Terry - maybe you have a sinus infection and that's why the headache won't go away - go to the doctor, antibiotics are a marvelous thing.

Wow, poor Helen - at least she was finally able to force him to go - they're both in my prayers.

Anna - Welcome and yes, we basically all grew up together - hopefully you'll find your friend. But, you've already found a whole bunch of new friends here!! Never been to Chicago but hear it's a great city to visit. Maybe now I'll have to come!

Judy - mom looks as beautiful as ever - great pics.

Anthony - love the dark side of the family - keep the Sicilian music playing. As for the southern boys, not quite my cup of tea.

Festina - hope all's well. Suzie more names for the prayer chain - please add my sister Conni - she's suffering from 4 herniated discs in her back and can't walk, sit, stand, sleep without pain. Man growing old sucks.

Joe, Patsy, Jim, Jeanette, Debbie, Paul (when are we all going to AC???), Donna, and to anyone else I missed - have a great day. It's still quite nippy out so bundle up.

    Later
  • Good morning everyone.

Terry I was wondering the same thing....it's not like Helen not to be here first. Hope all is well.

Heading out to target and bj's.....see you guys later.
  • I guess I didn't refresh my page......Helen.....I hope hubby will be okay. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
  • Hi Judy
    Love to Lorraine.
Yes that bond is so strong from the old neighborhood and I love it.
We all are here and there to support each other in time of need.
  • Anthony, another point of view from our Sicilian side
