I like Mullane's in Fort Greene.
-
It gets very rowdy and packed but 200 Fifth in PS is HUGE on football. They have enormous HD screens and not bad bar food.
-
How about Halfcourt on the corner of Washington and Park?
-
If by "football" you mean soccer, Woodwork, opening in the old Indio Blu space, is planning to feature soccer matches when they open next week.

Finally, the real and original football. Go Rangers! -
Thanks for the responses. This girl likes soccer too and appreciate the heads up about the Wood Shop, once football is over gotta watch something and the World Cup is right around the corner...
Has anyone been to Half Court? Read the reviews online and they weren't stellar
where did you read about the Wood Shop? if there are any articles about it I would appreciate the info...
thanks again! -
I usually end up at 200 Fifth in Park Slope to watch the games. It does get pretty crowded and a bit rowdy, but the energy there is a lot of fun and they have tv's everywhere (almost at every table) and a giant big screen in the back so you are sure to get to see the games. Also, they have a good selection of beer on draft, a menu with a variety of pretty tasety bar food (my guy pals really dig the wings), and the prices are reasonable too. I am sure this weekend is going to be packed so get there early to grab a spot and HAVE FUN!!!

Loki on 5th Avenue in Park Slope also shows the games and is a nice spot. Mediocre beer selection but you can order in some wings/burgers from Bonnie's which makes it nice. Mullane' s is a great spot but gets very crowded so you'd have to plan to get there early if you want to get a seat.

I haven't read anything about it yet, but I met the owner last night. I'm looking forward to trying it out on Monday.

200 5th gets way too crowded.
Everybody I've met at Half Court has been great.
People get at each other about their teams - but all in good fun.
And you can usually get a good seat at the bar. -
Owner is super nice too. Always brings out seats for the ladies!
-
Salty dog or kettle black. Bay ridge.
-
Angry Wades on Smith Street always has a good crowd, all the games, and $3 draft beers for a good part of the afternoon.
-
Just stopped by tonight- Woodwork will definitely have the superbowl playing, although at all other times it will be soccer only.
