I wonder if anyone saw who smeared dog crap on both front and back windshields of our car on Saturday night. It was parked on Carlton at Dean.
On the front, they put in right at the windshield wipers so when we turned them on it was awful. Disgusting.

    Sounds like too much disgusting trouble for someone to go through for it to be completely random. Got any suspects? Pissed anyone off? If you park more or less in the same place and are on a schedule, someone could have done it to watch the "fun" from their window...look around the area, maybe it will give you some ideas.

    As I said, seems like way too much trouble to be a random jerk, although who knows - if it was an SUV maybe some ELF wannabe got mad at the very sight of it and did the deed...

    No, it was the first time we parked there. I hope it was a random act of nastiness. Our car is a poor little 18 year old beater.. no SUV for me.

    that is absolutely gross. I agree with Drano: surely you must have pissed someone off? that's just too grim to be a random act.

    Wow, I really don't think we did. We are pretty courteous neighbors and usually park blocks from that area. Even so, I can't imagine anyone I've been in contact with to stoop to that. Maybe they'd ignore me for awhile, but that is about it.

    For my own sanity, I have to assume it was a random act!

    Nope, no stickers. There is an old FDNY decal in the back window leftover from the Bronx firefighter we bought if from. There was an old Sprite can in the front window.. maybe the person really prefers 7-Up.

    Is it possible your car alarm was keeping people awake half the night? That kind of provocation can definitely lead to disgusting substances being smeared on the offending car.

    We have no alarm. Sometimes we have no horn. We have no way of unlocking the front driver's door from the outside because a year or two ago someone broke in on Pacific for our faceplateless radio. That was great. I have a faceplate if anyone needs one.

    Maybe someone was offended by how crappy our car looks normally. Maybe someone hates rust. Maybe someone figured out that I voted on a happy hour poll and didn't go. Maybe someone didn't want to carry their dog's doo to a garbage can. Maybe they couldn't find one as described in past threads.

    I really don't know. Its gross and we have to go to one of those do it yourself washes since the automatic kind might take off the remaining paint! Then will have to make sure the brushes are clean so the next guy doesn't get it on his car.

    Or maybe Alex is right.

    i had dog doo doo thrown at my front yard before when i move into a new area when folks of some color dont like it. but that was in the past like pre mid 90's era where nyc was still very segragated.

    I'm pretty speechless at the thought of it, though it has crossed my mind. My imagination has definitely shown me all of the possibilities but have certainly kept good humor about it even though it is/was gross. It washes off... not as costly as broken window. Lots of us parking on Pacific have had that.

    Maybe we have a local crap tagger on the loose. Lock your..
