I AINT BLOND FOR NOTHING. HOW STUPID. I ANSWERED THE OLD POST LOL OK
Wow, I just heard about the blog from Rita Negri. I was wondering if anybody remembers my brother, Eddie Elardo, and I. I would especially like to hear from the Horans and anyone who went to St. John the Evangelist. After reading so many of the comments, it brought back so many great memories. One thing I didn't hear about - does anyone remember the "club" on 7th Ave and 15th St. I think the Fox family kind of organized it. I remember we used to go there and dance and bands played there. My cousins are Georgette and Joann Magnavita from 20th St. too. Anybody out there?
U KNOW AFTER I TYPED AND WENT TO GET READY FOR BKLYN I SAID HIS BROTHER EDDIE WHY IS HIS LAST NAME DEVITA. LOL THEN I THOUGHT VINNY MIGHT BE A GIRL LOL

An old man was sitting on a bench at the mall. A young man walked up
to the bench and sat down. He had spiked hair all different colors green,
red, orange, blue, and yellow. The old man just stared.
The young man said, "What's the matter old timer, never done anything
wild in your life?"
The old man replied, "Got drunk once and had sex with a parrot and I was
just wondering if you were my son."

Hello everyone, I've been trying to figure how to make a post on this site, but I keep waking up with the News and the Mirror. Back in the 60's I had a band called the Accutones. The band was a local band stationed on 22nd between 3rd. and 4th. Aves. Bernie Spatz played guitar along with Joe Aprobato, Richie Garguilio played sax, Peter Carona played drums and I played bass. Many times we played that Club on 7th. ave. as well as St.Thomas's, St Rocco's, St John's Holy Name and that little church on 17th. street. I lived on 17th. street between 5th. and 6th. ave. I can remember playing a birthday party at Pat Miele's house on 21st., she lived a few doors away from my Mothters aunt Rose. My e-mail is [email protected]. We live in the Pocono's now, but my heart is still in the Slope!!.. I'm also on Facebook.
VINNY POSTED THIS ON ANOTHER THREAD ON HERE...SO I COPIED IT
TO HERE....I HOPE HE COMES BACK ON HERE!
VINNY I GREW UP ACROSS THE STREET FROM YOU ....I OFTEN THINK ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ALSO ....WOW ...SO GLAD YOU FOUND US -

I watched AI last night (both shows) and almost hit the floor laughing, Amadeo is a character, that's for sure!!!!!!!!! Still trying to figure out how the 62 yr. old man made it in there, sounds like a set up to me!!! All in all, looks like some good talent out there. -
EVERYONE, HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!
STILL DISGUSTED OVER THE DEATH OF A 24 YR. OLD GUY THAT WAS WORKING AT DOMINO'S PIZZA AND SOMEONE WENT TO ROB THE PLACE AND KILLED HIM, THEY BASHED HIM OVER THE HEAD, HE WAS THE ASST. MGR. VERY SAD. NOBODY IS SAFE ANYMORE. -
