Bagel Store on Washington @ Prospect Place ?!

why hasn't a bagel store opened on Washington ---- towards Eastern Parkway?

It would be a goldmine.

There is one near Clinton Hill but that doesn't count.

I know it is cruel putting "Bagel Store on Washington " on the Subject... because you clicked on it--- because you want one too.

well, washington bagel cafe (the one i think you mean, on washington & bergen, nearer to atlantic than e.pkwy) delivers... so there's always that.

and they're super sweet. i stop in on my way to work in the a.m. most days.

but i do agree that if there were a bagel spot on washington and say, st johns? goldmine.

another good site for it would be the vacant building to the left of Love Liquors (the one with Capt Morgan in front of it).

It was gutted in prep for a remodel, but has now been simply vacant for almost a year.

Yes, that is why smaller bagels (like Bagel Hole, or the mini bagels at Terrace) are better. Better ratio of crispy to chewy.
