Rush/ Robertson — Brooklynian

Rush/ Robertson

After hearing these idiots speak about the suffering people in Haiti ... they both need jail time. Sometimes free speech is really painful.

  • The price of having free speech is hearing speech that you hate. Otherwise, it wouldn't be free.

Having said that, I agree with what you said about these guys.
  • What's really painful is knowing there are so many idiots in the country who line the pockets of Limbaugh and Robertson.

All the videos are on Huffington Post including the Haitian Ambassador commenting on the "deal with the devil". I am sure it's not anything he expected while going on TV to appeal for help.
  • Here's a thought, instead of believing all the bullshit about Rush you should take that time and so something for Haiti.

Bullshit like the words that actually came out of his mouth?

  • If there was a God, Limbaugh and Robertson would've both been struck by lightning by now.
  • Limbaugh, Robertson and others like them are truly mentally ill. You can't just lock up the deranged without some due process. I think it's also in our value system these days to care for the sick and the wounded as well as the misfit. Take them off the air and let them spout whatever they want to the ether.

No, the bullshit that the lying liberal media said that Rush said not to donate to Haiti. Rush did NOT say don't donate to Haiti. He said not to donate through the White House. Why does Barry want people to donate through the White House? Rush said private donations are better. $1.00 will end up being .30 by the time they're through with it.

Well, too bad you don't believe in God then.

The truly mentally ill are the lying liars and the lemmings that follow their every lying word. Try and think for yourself. It's a novel idea.

then rush is either lying or uninformed.

the clinton-bush haiti fund set up by obama does not go "through the white house." donations are administered by the clinton foundation, in which 100 percent of donations go directly to relief efforts, and bush's communities foundation, in which 99 percent of donations go directly to relief efforts. either is a far better ratio than most private charities.

rush is happy to scuttle donations to starving people if it allows him to torpedo any white house effort, no matter how humane.

  • Satan's response to Robertson
    Dear Pat Robertson,

I know that you know that all press is good press, so I appreciate the shout-out. And you make God look like a big mean bully who kicks people when they are down, so I’m all over that action. But when you say that Haiti has made a pact with me, it is totally humiliating. I may be evil incarnate, but I’m no welcher.

The way you put it, making a deal with me leaves folks desperate and impoverished. Sure, in the afterlife, but when I strike bargains with people, they first get something here on earth — glamour, beauty, talent, wealth, fame, glory, a golden fiddle. Those Haitians have nothing, and I mean nothing. And that was before the earthquake.

Haven’t you seen "Crossroads"? Or "Damn Yankees"? If I had a thing going with Haiti, there’d be lots of banks, skyscrapers, SUVs, exclusive night clubs, Botox — that kind of thing. An 80 percent poverty rate is so not my style. Nothing against it — I’m just saying: Not how I roll.

You’re doing great work, Pat, and I don’t want to clip your wings — just, come on, you’re making me look bad. And not the good kind of bad. Keep blaming God. That’s working. But leave me out of it, please. Or we may need to renegotiate your own contract.

    Best,

    Satan
  • +1 for Satan.

  • Rush is a bigger vapid celebrity than Brittney Spears.
