    not really for me. i have relatives who are intrested depends on the prices etc... on opening stuff.

    me i'm broke from the reno.. i might open something probably years down the road :).

    renting :). just edited my post. its not for me. just curious cause one of my relatives are thinking of opening a restaurant :p. i told them about my hood and he ask me to check up rent prices.

    Well, I know that the someone on Washington between Prospect and St Marks has been asking $2800/mo for about a 900 sq ft space, and that other owners thought that it was high... :?

    I would guess low-to-mid 2000's in that size range... Higher on Vandy... significantly.

    god forbid no more chinese resaurants :p. my parents been losing money on those investments for decades. i keep telling them to sell their shares!!!

    how about armchair starts with a chinese resturant TRUCK?! like the mudd truck in the city... or the providence burrito truck that became a restuarant... or isn't there a meat truck that people here used to love?

    I like it! The cook can do his thing in the back while armchair drives to the next delivery! Never will a customer get cold food! That, or he can find an annoying jingle and slowly drive through the nabe - I can see it now! People in sweats and pajamas rushing out to grab some Chinese food, all the while thanking their lucky stars because they won't have to go to the store or do dishes...

    for crack, use a bicycle. that's what all the cool drug dealers in the nabe employ for delivery.
