Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

Hi Everyone-wow, the World's Fair sure brought back memories. I don't remember if it was the G.E. Pavillion but I remember looking at big screens with pictures of people in them and they said someday we would be able to see the people we were talking to thru the screens..everyone laughed as we sat around this revolving stage looking at the newest appliances for the future...I remember my Dad's cousin was in construction. He lived in Freeport, L.I. and told me he helped construct the "Globe" for the World's Fair. Terry-I'm saying an extra prayer tonight for your friend....glad everyone is serious about quitting smoking...missed A.I. again-had to use my snowblower tonight otherwise I can't get out of my driveway to go to work...when is this snow ever going to end? Goodnight everyone.....................

we got a few inches (in the last 2 days snow on and off) it will be about 5 below 0 tonight with a high of 12 tomorrow.........it will be like this here until April.....I hate it!!! I'm here almost 24 years and I can't get used to the winters here.......they're the worst..............well, I'm gonna get warm and go to bed...talk to you tomorrow................

I don't think the photo will come out here, but I found my 'old house'
on 20th St for Sale on Zillow. I asked my sister if she wants to 'invest'
with me LOL. Sad it is boarded up.. If I were in town, I'd go and look at
it. I'm sure that would make me very sad.
