Has anyone rented a carpet cleaner from Key Food on 5th Ave?

Those carpet cleaners work really well and are easy to use. I use them 2-3 times a year to clean five very large room-size rugs. You'll be surprised at how much dirt they'll get out of your rugs, even when they don't look dirty. You'll need to buy the shampoo cleaner they sell at the supermarket. The rental is $20. I think the cleaning stuff is about $4.

You posted this on PSP also, right?

They usually work pretty well, but BE CAREFUL. Take a good look at the thing first - I rented one from the 7th Ave Key and somebody had used it to...clean their driveway or something, I don't know. It had a ton of crud in brusher part, and when I started the thing up that crud was immediately puked back on to my carpet. Obviously the Key Food staff didn't bother to give the thing a once over when the previous user returned it.
It usually goes pretty well, though.
