Just a quick type-by -

Terry. I do not have many answers for the loss of a loved one. As I mentioned in an earlier entry the best advice I ever had was to concentrate on the good times you had with the deceased. Those who have been brought up in a religion, have been taught that there is a better place waiting for us. In John we are told that Jesus said "In My Fathers House Are Many Mansions, If it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you". I do not believe that we should take the word "Mansions" literally but rather we have a place to go when our time on earth is past. Yes, Maries family has a tough time ahead of them but with many friends and family they will not be alone. When my brother died 2 years ago I at first started whipping myself with thoughts like"we should have done this together, we should have visited each other more often." Then I started to remember not only the good times we had together over the years but the time Carol & I brought him home from the Hospital after his last operation. We stayed with him several days feeding him, cleaning house etc:. When his children were able to take over we went in the backround but were there for him. We loved him then and love his memory now, but I am not going to forget the time he and his friends accidently hit me in the head with a rock and we tried to hide it from my Mother. We laughed about that many times. Cherish the memories and get on with YOUR life. O:) O:)

Jeanette - I really hope you did not mean that the way it sounded. Yes it has been very sad on the blog the last few days, but someone in our family lost someone that was very special to her and that is how it is, some days we have good news and some days bad...... how does that song go.....For good times and bad times.....I'll be on your side forever more.....That's what friends are for!!!!!!!!

Jeanette - You are right we all have some kind of heartache or another...either ourselves or our family members.....and I am sure that we all try and limit letting everyone know all of our problems everyday, but sometimes things happen and this is a great place to come when you need some encouragement or for whatever reason you want to come on and vent.

I am sorry if I offended you, I just felt like it was a little harsh the way you said it.

Well Jeanette I am really sorry you feel like that, I don't know what else to say.....I just put myself in Terry's shoes and if that was me I would have been very hurt by what you said....we all come on here with good news and bad news.

Unfortunately we are not in our 20's if we were the blog would be one HAPPY place, telling stories of the guy/girl we just met, or who got laid last night, who got a new job, etc......but we are not, we are all OLD and we are all at a stage in our lives where alot of shit happens and most of it not so good, but that doesn't mean that we have to hide our feelings.....

I really hope you come back on, because you are a big part of this blog.
