F train turned shuttle-bus for unspecified number"
(weekends only)

I actually dont mind the shuttle bus too much to get around brooklyn, but i also have quick access to the M/R which makes my commute into the city really easy. If I only had the F train to get into manhattan this would be a giant pain in the ass.

Subject: ugh
Ugh thats ridiculous. I don't mind the shuttle every once in awhile, I kind of like that fact that I'm forced to stay in Park Slope for the weekends, though I could just as easily walk a few extra blocks to the R train. I could be a long rainy March waiting for that damn shuttle. -
see i feel like the shuttle is usually there when I go looking for it (sometimes there are 3 or 4 lined up!) but once you get on it it takes forever. So I guess it sort of evens out...for me to get to Church ave is about the same via bus (longer transit but shorter waiting) but going downtown takes FOREVER (WAY longer transit.)

Its always there when its sunny. But when its rainy I find myself huddled under the awning of Brooklyn Industries at 7th and 9th st battling with an umbrella which has a habit of turning inside out. Ah the toils we go through to live in PS.

that's it. i'm driving everywhere on weekends now. including to, and from, bars.

Seriously - I'm driving too. Actually, I've even found myself driving into Manhattan a lot on the weekend... because whenever I try the train (F, Q, R, etc etc) on the weekend it's been fucked up and it's taken me 1-1/2 to get home. I gave up. That's sad.

I used the shuttle bus last time as a free way to get to Carroll Gardens, Smith St. and back.

shhh!! That's supposed to the dirty little secret of the whole thing! ;-) -
Has anyone seen any posters in the stations about this ? MTA website has zero information on this, even when I enter the dates listed in the Gothamist article.
I would like to plan what weekends I should avoid having visitors from faraway lands such as Manhattan or Queens. -
I kind of like Second Ave Sagas take on this
