Rant: doing school work instead of enjoying any of my friend's super bowl parties
Rave: Puppy Bowl is on!! With kitty half-time show and the ridiculous "blimp" with hamsters. Woah, and bunny "cheer leaders". Too much furry silliness. -
rave- lets all pray for 3 feet of snow tomorrow night...i need a snowday!
-
Carmen wrote: rave- lets all pray for 3 feet of snow tomorrow night...i need a snowday!
NO!! I need to go into the city tomorrow night :-( -
Carmen wrote: rave- lets all pray for 3 feet of snow tomorrow night...i need a snowday!
Dude and I are with you... -
LOL!
PWND?
Rave: Got into the city, hit up a few places, brought back take-out for eating tomorrow (so i don't need to cook or leave the house -if Papi doesn't eat it all tonight) I am so set for this Blizzard now! Let it snow! BooooYaaaaah!! -
^yes, PWND, pawned, p3nd, whatever. All of it. She's such a dumb shit.
btw, I always saw it written as "homie" or "homey". "Hommie" just looks like it rhymes with "Tommy". Maybe it works both ways. I dunno -
Urban Dictionary says no to "hommie"
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hommie
.....and approves "PAWNED".
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pawned
that's good enough for me

-
Looks who's getting all sentida! Ay, relax, it was a joke.
-

no estoy sentida. Just double-checked because I thought "pawned" was right (and it seems to be). Being correct does not make me emo.
"hommie' just doesn't look right (at least not to me) -
Is anyone going to work tomorrow (commuters that is)?
Sounds like if it doesn't seem nasty in the AM, it will definitely be a MTA disaster as you get off work.
Stay home!!!
I'll try to make a snowman again this winter, last try sucked. :smurf:
RANT: Papi ate most of my take-out meant to be for tomorrow. -
...I'll be at work tomorrow. They sent out a memo today that said we are "essential workers", that the city depends on in times of emergencies and therefore we better not call in sick or try to use vacation time.
...allow me to be the first to point out how scared you should be that someone believes you should depend on me in a time of an emergency. I'd rather be sledding and drinking with you slackers in the park.
You know who you are. -
Rant: I definitely still have to be at work tomorrow, no matter what.
-

Did you control yourself from replying "how come "essential workers" aren't paid or treated like they are essential?" Kudos to you if you did :-)

busy taking care of people "essential workers"
-
Rave: I'll be in school. I have no excuse not to go since it's only about a 5 minute walk from my place.
Rant: Maybe the professors won't show up and then I'll be angry for getting outta bed for nothing.
Maybe the snow will still be there this weekend? Slackers unite!
Rave : No classes on Friday, Saturday, Sunday AND Monday!!! -
Em, you rock! If there is snow this weekend, let's go sledding!!
Burgers first on friday though :P -
most of the snow is supposed to come during the day tomorrow. So, after I'm done being essential, it is supposed to be nice.
The Mrs and I will go night sledding. Dude will chase us down the hill. -
Rant- my school decides "by 6am" if we are closed for emergencies (via facebook, no less.)
RAVE- we ARE closed!
Rant- I'm wide fucking awake now after obsessively checking the tubes for the last 45 minutes... and my web of texts with classmates shows at least 6 of us have been up for an hour waiting for them to make the call (which they did at 5:57)
Preemptive rave- napathon later! -
Rave: It's a now day after all!
Rant: I'm up because I didn't find out till a few minutes ago via their website. -
Rant: Still have to work today. Arecibo had better be good today.
Rave: Friday, Saturday, Sunday off. -
Congrats Carny!
Rave: the apt is supa warm and I it's time to pop in some movies. Love snow days!! (as long as I'm home, that is) -
Rave: how much my dog loves snow. He becomes wildly spunky and happy in it.
-
Rave:
Jackson: I wanna go out! I wanna go out!
Jackson (upon seeing snow): I don't wanna go out!
Stella: Don't be such a pussy. I'll show you how it's done
Stella: The planet has become hostile! Retreat!
-
Rave:

How much were the mussels at Le Petie? (what ever it's called?)
Have you had the one's at Beast in PH? If not we should go, they're some of my favorite.
Rant: Was too busy for burgers, next time! Thursday and Friday are proving to be hectic work days for me. -
$12 but a huge portion- couldn't finish it. Not at Beast, but everywhere in PS. My fave remains at Toto. Should try Beast mussels yum. It's called Le P'tit Cafe.

Rave: to Em for pulling this together and to everybody else for showing up. Happily surprised to see so many people getting their burger on
