I saw the same sign.
...but, at the time, I assumed that someplace was opening that served Hale and Hearty soups. ...kinda like serving Boar's Head deli meats.
I didn't investigate b/c I'm more of a burrito guy than a soup one. -
i thought it seemed a rather odd locale for a hale and hearty soup (i could see 7th avenue in the slope, maybe) but perhaps you're right.
i guess we'll have to wait and see. -
I think that's the soup/juice place that's been there for the past year or so. I noticed the newspaper on the windows the other day. I'm assuming he's going out of business.

It is indeed the same soup and juice place that has been serving Hale and Hearty soups for awhile. He told me that he is renovating after I expressed to him my dismay that he was closing.
That place plays old soul music loudly and serves delicious soup. Please patronize them when it reopens. -
But TDL please confirm, whyfi is right though that it is a place that serves Hale and Hearty Soups, but not a Hale and Hearty Soups place, correct?
-
anyone know what's going into that big space on the corner of Prospect and Vandy? A work permit is on the gate but I couldn't tell anything specific but that it seems to be a restaurant coming in.

The word on the street is that it will be a bagel place from the owners of Zaytoons. -

Correct. It's the same place that was there before. They serve 3 or 4 soups, fresh juices and soul food. -
Carnivore -- Are you talking about 645 Vanderbilt, the old Chris Creations space?
