Bill Ritter and Sade Baderinwa of CH. 7 News are hosting a Town Hall Meeting at The Brooklyn Museums Cantor Auditorium, 200 Eastern Parkway on March 10th. at 7pm.

This is an opportunity to address the mugging problems that have been occurring in your neighborhood.

If interested, I would recommend you contact them at 7online.com before the meeting takes place and advise them of you concerns about the ongoing mugging problems in your community.

This will give them time to contact the Pct. Inspector and request he attends this important meeting , so your voice will be heard .

    town hall meetings are held to give you the opportunity to address all problems in your community. if you bring up muggings at the meeting without prior notice, the answer you'll receive is , we'll look into it.

    I'm just advising there is a meeting in your neighborhood and recommend Bill Ritter and Sade Baderinwa be contacted
    about the muggings before the meeting and hopefully they may cover it on their news show..

    If I was Channel 7, I'd use Town Meetings as a way to show Cablevision I had dedicated viewers in their subscription/service area.

    ...I would host such meetings throughout the Cablevision monopoly area, and pass out flyers for Direct TV.

    ...so Cablevision would give me the money I was demanding, whether I "deserved" it or not.

    I sent an e-mailed and advised him that there is an ongoing problem with assaults and muggings in your community and it will be addressed at the meeting , I asked him to review the following topics on the Prospect Heights Board.

    Mugging on Sterling
    Warning Thief on a bike
    Attack on Park Pl.

    You may want to contact the 77th Pcts Community Affairs Division at 718-735-0634 and ask if they are attending the meeting..

    Hopefully, this meeting will bring this rein of terror to an end.
