Terry - party looks like it was fun. I was trying to see the food LOL
(I'm hungry, haven't had breakfast yet.)
Carol Miele just called and said thanks for the well-wishes. She
is still in the hospital and has very serious pain. Something doesn't
sound right, and personally, I don't like the way this hospital sounds
(and its staff needs some 'training'). CentraState in Freehold
(I never heard of it.)
Frasier has been doing very well, and was pretty much back to himself
in a day.
Just a warning to you who have older dogs -> even though the vet said
I didn't do anything, I feel like he had his 'stroke' about an hour after I
put a new flea collar on him, so I felt awful about that. All the pesticides in
the flea collar? I don't know - but never again.
Well have a great Sunday - hope your weather is warming up. We may
get 67 degrees today.... Right Warren?
Maybe I'll take the day off, :study: and

Franny ....Im doing the same thing ...can we please have a shot
of the food???? Franny last year I thought my dog Rocky who is 18
was at his end .....I called the Vet and said ...Im so afraid to bring
him in ....but he is dying! I went in there hysterical (swear to God)
They checked him and said he is having a very bad allergic reaction
what did I use on him .....and I gave him a bath in flea & tick shampoo
because they go in the yeard. They wanted to see the shampoo and told
me to never use that again! $175- lata

Well..... I thought I lost the dog last night ....I put a rug next to my bed
for her to sleep on ......left the bedroom for a minute .....and this is
where she fell asleep! plus, she didnt even move when I was pulling
my comforter from under her!

Hi Suzie - I forgot to ask, when I was ready yesterday, you mentioned Joey Drezek, boy haven't heard about him in a very long time...that was Jolene's boyfriend for many years....do you know what ever happened to him? Bobby and I saw him oh about 10 -15 years ago, he did not look too good then?

I know ....Jolene was going out with him when we were in John Jay
together .....I know what you mean ....but I think he is ok. I havent
seen him in years either! -
I never went out with him ....he stayed with my Brother back then
too bad the neighborhood got to him in a bad way! -

Hi Franny, Yes they are talking high 60's today here also. It is about time. Every morning in the 40's is not what I came to Florida for. If this was my first winter here I would have moved!. Since it is my 13th winter I know better. I am one of the nuts who like it here in the summer. Less traffic, lighter clothes, no coats and people seem more relaxed. This area (Tampa Bay) is a little cooler then where you are both is the winter and the summer.

Yes, it is slightly warmer here than SunCity (I almost wrote SinCity LOL)
and Yes, it was cold this winter. I tried not to complain because it wasn't like being 'home'/North. This is my second winter living here and I never forget 1/20/09 when I pulled out of my iced-driveway at 2 degrees.
I too enjoy the summer when all the tourists leave the island. This becomes
a ghost town and I love it. I still plan to get together with you and Carol sometime; time just flies by.... HOPE YOU and CAROL are staying healthy,
and now the warm sunshine will help....

HI JUDY - hope you are enjoying your time with mom. She's always
in my 'healing prayers'
I don't know anything about the hospital. Carol just said they were very
unhappy and her son wanted to move her somewhere else. Also, she
said they "overdosed her with pain medication" and those words are
a direct quote from the nurse who was taking care of her. No one is
safe in any hospital -- we must be our own doctors, as you know.
Take care and stay strong -- Peace in Your Heart - You're doing all you
can for mom xxx
FRED - yes I remember that expression... So many great quotes from
the past... What is the legacy the kids of today have - something like 'WTF?' Wow....
